Embracing the myriad of
ways in which we are human
You are so welcome here. We exist to support those who are struggling - so that you don't feel alone.
We do this by holding two things in tension: valuing difference whilst acknowledging challenge.
We work with adults, young people and families by providing psychotherapy in a variety of forms - aiming to see people thrive not just survive. And we work creatively to align to whatever is most helpful for each person.
We support people who are struggling with mental health issues and illnesses, such as anxiety, eating disorders, burnout and self harming behaviours. We have a particular specialism in working with neurodivergent individuals and families (those who are autistic, adhd etc), and are very aware that there can be a unique way that neurodivergence overlaps and interacts with the demands of life - impacting mental health struggles; other coping strategies; engagement in school and the workplace; and many other things. We know this needs a different approach.
Hello. I'm Rebecca. How are you? Maybe if you're here, you're really finding some things in life tough. Maybe you haven't found the support you need, and nobody seems to quite get it. Maybe the system that you thought was there to help, isn't helping. We really get how that is - through both lived experience and professional experience. There is no judgement here, only kindness and curiosity.
We recognise that we do not all experience the world in the same way; and do not all fit the same mold. We recognise that this uniqueness is wonderful, but can also come with huge difficulties - for parents, for children, and for adults. This means we work integratively, using a range of approaches in order to tailor support for what each person or family needs. And we therefore aim to advocate for a more inclusive world that better understands that we are designed to function in a myriad of ways - and that this is ultimately a gift to us all.
We would love to hear from you - do get in touch. We would love to help.
