Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at rebeccahitch@themyriadcollective.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Firstly, we would love to hear from you.

If you contact us to make a referral, this is what the basic process is:

1. An initial free phone call of 15 minutes to chat through your concerns and decide what is best to do. Or book in a full Consultation session straight away of up to an hour. This tends to be most people's preference.

2. After a full Therapy Consultation Session, we decide together whether to set up regular sessions, or anything else appropriate. There will be Referral, Consent and Therapy Agreement Forms for us to complete and sign in order to safeguard the work.

3. Therapy is usually weekly, 50 minutes per week. Face to face or on Zoom. (We are based in Guildford, Surrey). We have different session packages for different requirements e.g. parent sessions, individual, child and group. Please see Fees Info for more details. Therapy is a joint commitment, not a flash in the pan, quick fix. It is rooted in this shared commitment.

If you contact us for schools or consultation services:

We provide training and workshops about neurodiversity, eating disorders and more. We always tailor our packages to whatever you need. Do contact us for further details.

THE NITTY GRITTY OF FEES FOR PRIVATE THERAPY

(This info is not for schools, consultation or corporate work.)

Fees can be a tricky thing to think about whilst you are in the process of beginning therapy, especially if you are at a crisis point of some kind. So, below you will find a clear outline of how fees work. Please do get in touch if you have an questions, I do not want fees to be a barrier to engaging in therapy support.

Best wishes

Rebecca Hitch at The Myriad Collective

What do fees cover?

Fees do not just cover the weekly sessional time. Fees cover everything outside of that as well so that there will hopefully not be extra charges for anything, unless absolutely necessary, such a report writing and multi-agency meetings.

Here is a list of some of the things that fees cover:

  • Session time
  • Set up time and clinical note writing
  • Assessment
  • Supervision
  • Phone calls and emails with parents and/or other professionals outside of session time (beyond 10 minute phone calls will be charged separately)
  • Admin of liaising with GPs/schools etc if necessary
  • Insurance liability
  • Room hire/Zoom fees
  • Safeguarding training, DBS, and ongoing child protection training

How much are the fees (face to face and online)?

Full Initial Consultation Session (60 minutes) & process: £115

Individual Therapy Session (50 minutes): £95

Parent/s Therapy Session (60 minutes): £115

Longer/Family Therapy Session (90 minutes): £150

Do get in touch if you have any queries on this.

We have up to date policies and procedures that cover all relevant areas, such as Privacy, Safeguarding, and more.
